This page explains, in simple terms, what happens to the information you share with me.

What I collect

I may collect your name, email address, phone number, messages, booking details, payment status and the photographs or video created during your session. Stripe processes your card payment; I do not receive or store your full card number.

Why I use it

I use your information to:

• reply to your enquiry;
• arrange and provide your photoshoot;
• take payment and keep financial records;
• send important booking and gallery information;
• deliver your photographs;
• use a limited selection of non-intimate photographs from standard adult portrait sessions and event photography in my portfolio, website and professional social media to show and promote my work;
• answer questions or resolve problems; and
• send occasional offers only where you have agreed to receive them or the law allows it. You can unsubscribe at any time.

For ordinary portfolio use, I rely on my legitimate interest in showing examples of my photography and promoting my business, balanced against your privacy. I rely on separate explicit permission for boudoir, nude or other exceptionally intimate photographs, and for identifiable photographs of anyone under 18.

Who I share it with

I use trusted services needed to run the business, including Stripe for payments, Wfolio for the website and galleries, and email or secure cloud-storage providers. They receive only the information needed to provide their service.

I do not sell your personal information or give your contact details to unrelated businesses for their marketing.

How long I keep it

I keep booking and payment records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes, normally up to 6 years. Please download and safely back up your delivered photographs; I cannot promise permanent storage.

Your choices

You may ask what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it where the law allows. You may also withdraw marketing consent at any time.

You have the right to object to the portfolio or promotional use of your photographs. To make sure selected photographs are marked as private before any planned publication, please send me their file numbers within 10 days of receiving your final gallery. You may still object later, and I will stop future use and remove the photographs from the website and social-media accounts I control where reasonably possible.
