A photoshoot that starts with tea, movement and intention
What makes this approach different?
Most shoots go straight into posing. This one feels more like a retreat for you:
• Time to settle, breathe and arrive
• Space to be soft, sensual, playful or serious — without pressure
• Practices that relax your body and soften your face, so the photos look more natural and like you
Three elements of Photo Ceremony

Tea Ceremony
- Shift from a busy day into a slower, grounded state before any photos
- Build real trust with me so being photographed feels safe and natural
- Discuss your intention and what you want from the shoot

Movement practice
- Release physical tension and calm your nervous system with a gentle, guided movement
- Drop out of your head and into your body so your expression becomes real and alive
- Stretch your comfort zone in a safe way, so you feel freer and more playful on camera (blindfold in optional!)

Photoshoot
- You do not need to know how to pose — I guide you with simple, natural directions
- We keep a calm, supportive pace, with space for pauses and adjustments
- The camera captures your real presence. Emotional, sensual, confident images that look like you

My approach is a good fit if you:
- Value connection, authenticity and embodiment
- Want portraits that actually feel like you, not stiff, over-posed or fake
- Are going through a life change — new chapter, new work or city, break up, motherhood, wedding
- Want to feel more at home in your body and see yourself with kinder eyes
- Feel shy, awkward or very self-critical in front of the camera
*You can choose Photo Ceremony or Mini Ceremony for portraits or boudoir, or book a standard photoshoot if you prefer a shorter, simpler session

About Anasta
Long before I became a photographer, I was already creating space for people to feel seen. My photography draws on years of leading movement workshops, women’s circles, and blindfolded self-expression practices. I’ve developed a unique method of posing through movement, taught in dozens of in-person and online workshops, helping people feel relaxed, expressive, and real.
Photography has been my full-time work and greatest passion since 2022. Before that, I worked as a producer and location scout, and spent 9 years as an international fashion model for brands like Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, and Chanel. I know both sides of the camera — and how to help you feel your best in front of it.
FAQ

Where do sessions take place?
Most Photo Ceremonies take place in my cozy home studio in London.
We can also meet at your home, a rented space, or out in nature.
It’s not suitable for crowded locations.
I’m always happy to suggest options once I know a bit more about you and your intention!
How long does a ceremony session take?
Full Photo Ceremony sessions are unlimited — we create enough space so nothing feels rushed. In reality, a full ceremony often unfolds like a spacious half-day together.
There are also shorter options, like Mini Ceremony and a Standard Photoshoot.
Exact timings and what is included are described on the portraits and boudoir pages
Do I need any movement or dance experience?
No. The movement practice is very simple and fully guided by me (and I will be moving together with you!)
Why are your clients wearing a blindfold?
These photos are from the movement practice — it’s a behind-the-scenes part of the process, not the final photography product.
The blindfold helps people drop deeper into their body, without visual distractions, so they can feel more and think less. It is completely optional. You can do the movement practice with or without a blindfold.
